Software/System Skills
I am a skilled graphic design specialist with an emphasis in these areas: logo/branding, vector design, design illustrator, digital photography and photo correction.  I use InDesign for my graphic designs and magazine spreads. Other skill sets I acquired at my design school are 3D design, audio/video recording and editing.

Work History
Jul 2008 to Aug 2008 -Activities Volunteer at the Charlestown Retirement Community by Erickson. Located in Catonsville, MD.

Assisted with the implementation of patient’s/resident’s daily mobile movements. Worked with supervisors in their coordination of patient/resident participation in prescribed activities, including but not limited to recreational and table games, community based eateries, field trips, and educational tours. Engaged in daily conversation and interaction with patients/residents of the retirement community.

I also currently serve as a website designer intern at Businessbymouse.com™, a local mobile marketing company in Baltimore, Maryland.

Education
Aug 2009 to Jul 2010 -American Career Institute in Columbia, MD. Course: Special Effects Design

This is where the majority of my design illustrator, graphic artist skills originated. The instructors dedicated themselves to ensuring that we left with the skills we needed to fulfill the requirements of most entry level graphic design jobs. The academic curriculum was geared to grooming a student to fill the position of a freelance graphic designer. While enrolled in ACI, I recieved an award dedicated to students who could produce short films that met and surpassed expectations, landing my films a spot on the big screen monitor in the main lobby. The award is listed below:

Sept. 2005 to Jun 2009 -Baltimore City College High School. Located in Baltimore, MD. Received High School Diploma, placing in the Top 10% of my graduating class with a GPA of 85.766.

During my four years of high school, my interest and foundation in graphic design was acquired through Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop classes I enrolled in.
